Mac 'n' cheese

Very creamy and cheesy Macedonia cheese

Serves 4 people 10-20 minutes preparation time 25 minutes cooking time

Ingredients

175g Elbows
4 tbsp. butter 
60g flour
75ml milk 
100g ham 
150g cheese, grated 
Salt

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C, 350F, gas mark 4.
  2. Cook Elbows in boiling water for ten minutes, add salt.
  3. Put butter in a saucepan, add flour to thicken, stir continuously.
  4. Add milk slowly to the butter and flour, this will thicken the sauce (white sauce).
  5. Strain and rinse the Elbows and add the white sauce, stir until all the pasta is covered.
  6. Sprinkle cheese and ham over the top.
  7. Bake for twenty five minutes.
  8. Leave to cool, serve, enjoy.
